Found this version on the Flydreamers site; again, chukar partridge is standing in for French.

hook - Mustad 3906 #8
thread - Danville 6/0 yellow/red
tail - pheasant tail dyed sunburst (1 Tbs Rit golden yellow/1 cup water)
rib - small wire gold
body - dubbing chopped yarn pale yellow
body hackle - badger
hackle - chukar partridge dyed golden olive (1Tbs Rit golden yellow1 cup water, overdyed with 1 TBS golden yellow/1tsp Rit dark green/1 cup water)
collar - partridge dyed golden olive

Ooh, I like that a lot Scott for similar reasons Allen’s Mayfly speaks to me. Beautifully tied as always...

I like this fly plenty . . . which I hope won't harm the straight Arrow's reputation, since I also fish beer and drink streamers . . . two of the abominations we just learned last week that have killed fly fishing.
