A classic winged wet fly in the manner of Bergman and Bastian ...

Hook: Mustad 3906B, Size #10
Thread: Underbody ~ Uni-Thread 6/0 white; Head ~ Danville Flymaster 6/0 black
Tails: Matched slips mallard quill dyed yellow
Tag: Flat mylar gold tinsel, small
Body: Alec Jackson Premium Silk, yellow
Rib: Flat mylar gold tinsel, small
Throat: Matched slips schlappen hackle, yellow
Wings: Matched slips mallard quill dyed yellow
Head: Black thread, two coats Griff's Thin/two coats Griff's Thick head cements

This particular fly is destined to become a museum piece! It should be added to the hundreds of others in this category that you have tied! Thank you Bill for doing such quality work! It gives all of us great pleasure just to look upon this beauty! We are all waiting and wanting to know what's next from your vice?

beautiful wet, Bill. You do tie the most beautiful specimens of these older wet flies. I have a couple very similar to this in an old loaded fly box that I bought from Bob Selb. Not as nice as this though. :D
