You guys really crack me up. Thanks everyone.

I did manage to get that "wind knot" untied, but not streamside. Are you saying I can blame the leader and not my clumbsy forward stroke? I'll take it. Maybe we can talk about that in the leader thread and I'll feel more validated. :D :D

Jon, I hate to see you pained so. If it would make you feel better to see me carrying the FF84, you have my address. :D As for the leader, bring em to NY! I would love a lesson.

Eloquent narrative, William. I was able to clearly picture the scene in my head, as I read your report. Thanks for taking me along to watch, and thanks for handing me the fly on your way home... ;)

(told ya I could picture it clearly in my head...)

Howdy All;

Just hear today, that the State is starting to release some of the water fron Elephant Butte Res. should be filling up Cabillo Res.
When the levels get 'right', they'll let it roll South to El Paso, Tx. and beyond. I should explain that the river is the Rio Grand, and
most of that water will be siphoned off for irrigation.
This also means that fish will bepassing thru as well right now it just a dry river bed.
5 weeks before I'm back in Utah.....
