I'm thinkin' that the link Ray posted last night
was also Jameison's yarns, but some industrious
soul has measurd off 25 yard lengths and packaged them.
Like the difference between buyin' a dram at the pub as
opposed to the bottle to carry home from the liquerist...
Alwyas good to have 'back-up sources.

replacement for Chadwick's Killer Bug yarn.

I love these, the flies and the photographs. Now I am really sorry that I was stuck back at my table and didn't get to spend some time with Chris and the other tiers. Obviously there was some productive exchange of info and materials going on.
Pete Hidy would have applauded all these experiments with yarn, which had become one of his favorite tying material sources in later years.

I love this type of fly. The multi color yarn looks fantastic. I bet this is gonna be a killer pattern.

Ray, those are some really nice flies. One of the things I find so fascinating about the wool yarn bodies is how they change colors so much when they are wet - even more than the color change you get with silk.
