Smoke fly is pretty similar to Syl's midge... one of Neme's patterns that I fish quite often.

Syl's Midge! I'd forgotten about that pattern; Nemes was the perfect voice for the renaissance of the soft hackle.

I put it on a new tying list from the book at first sight.
