Hot damn! That is just how I was imagining the body. I love the subtle color of the emerging caddis, at the hook bend. Nice touch, William.

That fly would be murder in the Adirondacks, as the ice just leaves the ponds in early spring. My Dad and I have caught trout that were literally stuffed to the gills on cased caddis. When they open their mouth, you could see that their gullet was full, and yet they were still feeding...

I think this would be a killer stillwater fly. I gotta get me some llama dubbing.

Glad you all like it. I tied up a number of these twisted and wrapped, slender and chubby.

Beautiful flies. You have given me an idea on how to use some material someone gave me recently. There are so many flies I want to tie, and not enough time to do them all....lol. :D
