Hank/Norman - Sorry about the second photo. I just couldn't help drooling all over the fly when I was takin' the picture. I bet the trout will have the same problem. :D (friendly humor)

Ray, you shared a couple wool yarn samples that fall in this same camp. I marked them as Ray's Chadwick sub 1, and 2.

Thanks for the yarn. It's fun stuff to play with.

[ stunned silence as I sit and stare, marveling at these flies ]

William - These are superb. This is a perfect hook for these flies. The upturned eye just looks pretty. I love your choices of hackle, dubbing blend & thread color as well. The harmonizes well with the body. I am confident these flies will be as effective as they are pretty...and that's saying something. When you get around to fishing these, please take a camera along. ;)

Thanks again. These yarns are so buggish the hackle almost seems too much. I can see clipping some of it back. Not a true larva...but likely a killer combo. There are a few with wire twisted in but they looked odd. They'll fish well enough. I'm looking forward to fishing these.

It's the one time I didn't include the hook in the name. These are on the daiichi 1250. The dubbing its a multi-hare muskrat Antron blend and they are all held together with Griffiths 14/0. I love these hooks ever since i held onto a brownie in the film a couple years ago when I missed him on another fly. Probably coincidence or a softer set on my part, but I started tying on it more and hooking up as well as before so I like it for fine wire. These could obviously work on any hook, but I like the swimmy tone of these hooks. I'll follow up on this when I get home.

I have no idea why I wasnt following this thread. Ray, Smuggler, Hank, William. Great patterns each of you. I hope I didnt forget anyone.

I do enjoy seeing the flies wet, or chewed up. Well done all!
