Re: Midwinter Christmas hook giveaways

I would love a sample of the hooks as well.. The generosity of folks on this list is just amazing.

Thanks,

That is an incredible looking spider. Trout here would go nuts for it.

Re: Cahill

The more I look at that body dub the more I like it. Great job. Stay Away from my pretty little girl... she just wouldnt look right without fur  I actually love the look of her underfur as a dubbing material. I think it has some great buggy potential. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3816/11589...

Cahill

Not wingless but a fun tie... Wing is too long, Hackle is too long, head is too big, but the body dubbing was contributed by my beautiful little girl (half Beagle, Half Black and Tan Coon Hound) so that makes it a special fly.

Re: The Bloody Coot

Jeff,

Tell us about this Pukeko. How are the feathers to tie with? Brittle or delicate shafts? Do the barbs stick together like Mallard or do they splay nicely like partridge? Tell us the scoop on these exotic (to us) materials you have access to.

Re: Preview for the Mark L. Swap

Yeah, I love that hackle too. It is from a Whiting American Hen Cape. Probably the nicest hen feathers I have found.

Re: Lil' Dorothy Swap

So do we have a final count and final set of requirements for this swap? How many do we need to send and what are the requirements (lil' dorothy only or any of Mark's flies or variations on his flies or what?)
