Mike try this: go to Google.com and click on "more". Then click on "books". Then enter the title and go to page 58. Not all of the pages are viewable but you can still get a lot of information. If that doesn't work then you are right; a different country is the problem. Bill

Fly tyer's often have their own unique terminology for colors. I believe that in regards to the original question; Veniard's was most likely the dyes used. If anyone is interested, on page 27 of the book in the link below, is the story of the origin of Veniard's dye colors. Crawshaw was later bought...
