Re: Keel Flies

Nice flies!

I think the most creative keel fly I have tied is Popovics' Schoolie

Re: Betty's Fly

Thanks everyone!! Hank, I had the pleasure of meeting willowhead when he tied at the NW Fly Tyers Expo here in Oregon. But the little I have learned about Full Dress fly tying has come mainly from meeting and watching some of the best Salmon Fly Tyers in the world at NW Expos and Shows over the last...

Re: Green Pheasant and Ostrich

Thanks guys!

I know I could swap fly boxes with either of you on a river and have a great day fishing with your creative & beautiful flies. ;)

Green Pheasant and Ostrich

Thanks ronr for sharing some donated fly tying materials!! It prompted a new steelhead tie with what I think is Green Pheasant. It is a bird I have never seen before. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51612053671_2daf5448cf_z.jpg RIMG2296 by William Lovelace , on Flickr Hook-Dai Riki 899 #2 Thread...

Re: Sink tip line

Besides using sinking and sink tip lines, I also make add on sink tips in various lengths out of T-14 line.
