Back in '92, I built myself a 6'6" Lamiglas 4 Wt. for those brushy little creeks in Eastern Oregon. Didn't need much distance, but relied on a bow and arrow cast most of the time. ;)

Ron,

For one of my travel rods I made T-14 tips in 2, 5, 7 and 10' to adjust to different water conditions when only taking a floating line. ;)

I like to tie some with a wire rib for weight to get down just sub surface in the riffles.
