Roadkill... the UV2 dun was a winner yesterday. My friend, who was a bit of a novice, hooked a juvenile bull trout on the fly. Just as I was preparing to take a quick photo, the fish made his escape, along with the fly...so you guys will just have to take my word for it... I only took the one versio...

Roadkill graced me with a set of these flies today. They'll be put to use on the Metolius tomorrow, with fishing report to follow. Thanks Bill, these are prettier in person that on the computer screen..

Welcome Dino...take a brief tour of the index and check out the Step by Steps, and videos, etc... in no time you will find a steady diet of flies to pique your interest. I was new not that long ago, and am now hopelessly addicted to this forum and the huge amount of information available here.

Ray.... the swap flies are two strands of tinsel, one red one gold , wrapped side by side up the shank.. rib is small black wire.

Ray, Now that my face is out there and the system didn't crash, I guess I could add an avatar to my profile. That fish was a nice one... came from the Metolius in a spot called the "idiot hole"... because the fish make you feel like an idiot most of the time...the picture doesn't do the fish justice...
