Otto... I fish these on the swing most often. Around here, (except for Roadkill and Variant) I'm about the only person I see fishing and swinging soft hackles on a regular basis. They didn't look nearly as good as your patterns! They garnered no interest so I took them down. You are an amazing tyer! Ray.. can I share your SBS with my old tying group back in Houston. I demoed that fly for them via Zoom a few months ago and my attempts at a tying sequence sucked compared to yours. Several of the guys actually tied and fished the fly with good results on the Guadalupe River.

I could have sworn that Dubbn posted a couple flies in the last week or so, caddis pupa that had hair collars or hackles... can't find them anywhere to comment on them...but I too have been using micro pine squirrel zonkers and dubbing loops to make collars and hackles... so with no where else to pu...
