the yellow cdl is certainly interesting... your flies tied with it will no doubt provide additional inspiration as all your flies seem to do. I have a partridge dyed yellow that I haven't put to a lot of use...but I'm betting I'll be getting some ideas pretty soon... I also have a green and an orang...

Slattery had a nice fiery brown cape recently... both Letumgo and I ordered one...got mine and was very happy with it..

I recently watched a Zoom presentation by the Central Oregon Fly Tyers Guild and was surprised to see the presenter tie and discuss the Coch y Bondhu. He also mentioned his preference for swinging soft hackles. Most of these folks are experienced tyers and this fellow shared a couple very good tips ...

those are beautiful renditions of Lafontaine's classic. Around here He's regarded as something of a god of the caddis. I guess he spent a fair amount of time with a scuba mask and recording his observations. I have two of his books and have to say, I've done much better with Syl Neme's mother's day ...
