The blue dun feather you have for the wing: what type of bird did that come from? It would work perfect for the SKUES style nymphs, in a bit of a smaller size. Rooster, or is it a hen neck?

This is great. I was just looking at the Swarbrick patterns this afternoon in an early Fogg book. These are great and I agree with the peacock = magic approach. Beautiful sub feather.
