I think it's a great read. Hills does a wonderful job describing fly fishing in the late 19th, early 20th century. My paperback copy has been thumbed to death, literally, it's in pieces.

The reason we use the word 'dun' is because it can be annunciated -cleanly, crisply. Without the word 'dun' in our vocabulary we'd all be walking around trying wrap our tongues around blae.

I understand that Chadwick's is the Holy Grail of yarns, but color-wise, I prefer the Jamieson's Oyster. I also like Bob's choice of hook over either of the ones used by Davie or Oliver.
