Re: Leftovers & Mickey Doodle

Norm, what's the blue material behind the cheek feather on the 'Leftover'?

Those ties are, for lack of a better word, electric. Stunning work, old bean.

All the best JC nails live with Norm. All the split, trailer trash JC nails live with me. I love the Cut Lips tie, Norm; it makes me think of a 9/3 on a diet.

Re: Hurricane, Barnes Special, Stewart's Hawk

Love the Stewart's Hawk, Norm. My bench hasn't seen a JC nail that nice in years; all of mine are split and look like roadkill.

Re: Visit Magpie Materials for Hen Necks

Carl, Ron, and Charlie; that ain't bad advertising right there! I don't know Charlie Craven, though I've watched a lot of his videos. We, here in the forum, are beyond blessed to count Carl and Ron among our betters (my betters anyway). Those capes look amazing; I would kill for either one of them.

Re: Preferred Silk

I still have a pile of Pearsall's, but I don't use it much these days. I gave all my purple Pearsall's to Dana; good riddance. Purple is the color of ee' vil. Alan (BrkTrt) sent a few spools of Kimono to me when he first started using it. The availability is excellent and the colors, to my eye, are ...
