thats some GREAT material you picked up, Alan....very nice indeed. I really like your patters as well. It seems to me you ALWAYS have/use some sort of slick hooks....what make would they be?? :mrgreen: Dana Dana, I use Hanak, and Firehole Sticks....the latter is a great hook and reasonably priced. ...

BB, I agree that Fran's Aust. Possum dubbing could have some color differences.

I like using the darker spiky fur for the thorax on many of my flies.

I’ve tried all kinds of flies , god knows how many, so I’ve come to the mind bending conclusion that dull flies work, bright flashy flies are a waste of time. Of course every once in a while you’ll hook a fish on one of those Mylar riddled flies, but not often! Check out Small Stream Reflections.......

Hi Alan, This one was tied quite a while ago but I’m pretty certain I remember the materials list. Dubbing is hares ear off the mask, mainly hares poll.
