Re: Parting With Fishing “Stuff”
I am faced with the same problem. About a thousand Fly fishing books, about 200 on guns hunting and bird dogs, and a like number on food. Some I can give to Mike Watriss at GreAt Feathers for his sale shelf.and some can be sold. I am planning to offer some to members of this and a couple of other fo...

Re: October Caddis Flymph in-hand
Back in 1976, while on vacation in Yellowstone and vicinity, good friend JB mentioned that the year before, he had watched Lee Wulff tying in hand. I had tried it a few times, so I said “I can do that”, and tied a LeTort Hopper to prove it. But it got me thinking, and when I got home, I set to work....

Being a native Virginian, I call them possums.
The only people referring to them as “opossums” are those fanged uppity Yankees, and we all know they talk funny.

Re: Leisenring for sale
Good on ya, Ron.
I thought of bidding, but I have it, and at somewhere between 800 and 1,000 books on trout fishing I need to cut back.
Then, there are the food books and the books on guns, hunting and bird dogs.

Re: “Summer on the Test”
One of the true gems of fly fishing literature.
My preference for spring creeks has resulted in a pretty good collection of English chalk stream authors.
Where the Bright Waters Meet by Harry Plunket Greene is another that should not be missed, as well as anything by CF Walker.

Re: Day Drinking Caddis and beer review.
It was a different world pre-winter Olympics, for sure. SLC was a small town, in feeling when we lived there, while now, it is just another city. I worked in the VA hospital while at the Univ, and as soon as all the breakfast cleanup was completed, all those nice LDS ladies would grab a cup of coffe...
