Tom,

He has the same pattern listed on page 122 in his book, Wet-Fly Tying and Fishing. He should
have had you tie the fly and take the picture he used in the book!

John, We fished these places: Missoula area - Rock Creek, West Fork of the Bitterroot, Fish Creek, Bitterroot (Main Branch), North Fork of the Blackfoot, and Blackfoot (Main Branch). Since the pictures of my flies didn't show the color of the 2 dubbings very well, I will add a picture of just the dubbings for you to compare. The 1 on the left, a bit darker with more orange.
