Heck Ron, I can not see a negative aspect to that pattern. The body color, the bead and the Partridge reminds me of my beloved Guides Choice Hares Ear.

If larger than size 12 Stone Nymphs live in your waters, that fly will produce way above average.

I fish a plane jane muskrat when the Iron series of flies are probably being eaten. I have mole, I just dont use it so much in this fasion.

I use moonlit a lot. Really good, strong, sharp hooks and I like the gunmetal color finish instead of gold or bronze. My buddy has an online fly shop called "not only trout" and has them for like 4 bucks all the time. If yall want any I can give you my coupon code to get them even cheaper...
