Doug, they are meant to be full. Over hackled. When the caddis start to emerge and the water is slightly stained, this type of pattern will make it easy for a trout to find it. Even as a dropper on a Euro rig, or cast upstream, high in the water column, these will move fish, just as bushy as can be.

Ken, some are Olive, some Golden Olive, and you cant see it, but Brown as well.
