Re: Sink tip line

I have always read, heard and was taught to fish the traditional ways, and when I read or hear and see someone, let's say, going against the grain, it sets me back a bit. Re: Sink tip line

I know I'm going to word this very badly, and also be misunderstood. So I'm prepared for any comebacks. Wouldn't it be considered that by using sinking line or versileaders, that, that defeats what fishing wet flies are all about? Aren't wet flies only supposed to float from beneath the film t...

The moose mane goes well with the hackle and the colors all through the fly are pleasing to the eye.

Re: Pritt's #4 Little Winter Brown

Great looking flies! I agree with Ray, the Plover hackle with the banding looks awesome. Gives the whole fly its own character.

Awww, it's a cute little bugger. I'd call it Scooter.

Seriously, very nice job on it. I really like the crisscrossing of the thread on the body.

Re: BNM

 As soon as I opened the post it looked like a big nasty black spider on your vise and I kind of sat back in my chair. Those are good looking. Black does very well in the waters I fish. They worked great yesterday on the Gunnison, and the day before on the Roaring Fork. https://i.postimg.cc/kG...
