I like it too! I have a English Hen skin from Steve. Nice stems, decent amount of small feathers.
I should ask Steve, but does anyone see, practically, any big difference between cocks and hens in size and structure? I know there's a difference in coloration...

Re: Dry and Dropper
Your bottle brush looks really cool! I think it would require a size 0 bead head streamer (or a lead anchor) to sink it!

Mine often look like they belong in Fred Flintstone's yard.

Re: Old Blue Dun
Norm, your tie is beautiful. But you pointed to a source that looks pretty cool too! One that I haven't seen before. Thank you.

Re: Parting With Fishing “Stuff”
I learned to fish when I was about 8. My uncle taught me to use spin gear, with worms usually, but also Daredevils and Mepps spinners, to catch stocked rainbows in the Sierras (especially Yosemite, when they still stocked fish in the Merced). Re: A Small Wheatley Box
I have very kind & generous daughters. They asked me what I wanted for Father's Day. I started out using Wheatley boxes 30 years ago, when I got them for "free" from LL Bean, using gift cards I got from my work. But I switched over to C&F boxes after about 10 years. However, in the...

Re: Fishing a Riffle
SA also makes some markers, in several different colors, for use on leaders for sighters. I bought a couple a while ago, but haven't used them. I bought them for my euro setup, but have since found that I don't really like that style of fishing (even if very effective). https://scientificanglers.com...
