Thanks Ray, you’re not gonna believe what I found in the road today! Yes a beautiful rooster pheasant right in front of pheasant farm, and they were having a tower shoot, the bird was still warm and in excellent condition. Your pattern will definitely be used.

This year I’ve fished my gloomis nrx lp 5 wt for almost everything, it’s a rod i that is light and easy casting with a soft tip, really like it. Absolutely beautiful flies old hat, thanks for sharing your thoughts and patterns. I enjoyed fishing wets and flymphs this spring, but I really need to work my hook set. I broke off some nice fish, but that’s fishing.
