I tie a lot with Kimono now so I don't bother to split with that thread. But, Pearsall's is much easier to s...

Thanks gentlemen. Glad you like it. Sorry about the no answer for a while. I am still having issues logging in. It seems to be random that I can get access.

Kimono silk now for the fly fisher
Just an FYI, My friend at Magpie Materials has worked out a deal with Superior Threads and is now offering Kimono Silk spooled on standard size tying spools. The price is very reasonable. He is carrying most of the colors that match up with Pearsall’s and a few new colors. https://magpiematerials.com/

Re: CREATIVE GEWE WET FLIES
Geert ties some wonderful flies. He also ties some beautiful little soft hackles. I befriended him years ago in the Classic Flies subsection of the Fly Tying Forum. He sent me a beautiful framed collection of soft hackles. He is a very generous and genuinely friendly person.

Re: Carey special
One of my favorites for the all the holding ponds here in Florida. When I was in Central Oregon our fly club would do an annual trip to Kamloops area in Canada. This was one of the go to patterns.

"Pink" sounds like a good Fly Swap theme. Just saying.
