Re: Copper King V.
Regarding the bobbin, didn't gudebrod have a long bobbin to fit the spools that they used? I usually just spin them onto a smaller bobbin with a bobbin spooler that I bought at walmart. I'll dig around and see if I have one and load a pic of the gudebrod bobbin.

Re: Caddis Pupa/Stone Nymph - Tutorial/SBS Tying Instructions
Silly question, if you use the D-Rib from Thorax to Bend, how do you tie it off? Or did you mean you tie in at bend and end up at Thorax? I can't tell by your photos.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thread Question - If a thread spool has no name
If a thread spool has no name on it, how can you tell if it is cotton or silk. My wife picked up a ton of spools from an estate but no labels are available.
Some are spun on sewing bobbins and some are not.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Richardson's silk thread

My question is this, is it as good as the other silk threads meantioned on this forum and many others. I tried doing some research and am not having any success. Any g...

Re: swinging flymphs with a switch rod?
I use my Yamame Tenkara Rod for this style of fishing, it has a great reach with the furled leader and short tippet.

Here in Central PA we don't have trout that big, but I have caught a 24 inch brown on a bhpt.
