Re: Pritt's Little Winter Brown

Quite lovely Bill! You are a high master at the touch dubbing technique! It looks very buggy and, at the same time, is pleasing to the eye!

Re: Golden Killer

Norm,
What a cool looking streamer! I like them sparse just like this one you have tied! I think they are more realistic looking and better fishers! Well done friend!

Re: Doing better

Fishnkilts,
I agree with Ray! Your pattern is awesome and you already proved that your flies catch fish! They are the best and ultimate judge of your work! I want to encourage you to keep up the good work that you are doing at the vice and out on the waters!

Excellent Tutorial Ray! So well edited and "put together"! The end product is not bad either! Lol!

Re: Partridge and orange comparison

DarrellP,
Back on the first page, you commented about the color red on Bluegills and Shell Crackers! I wholeheartedly agree! And yes, using florescent threads of all colors but particularly red is a huge plus in picking off reluctant fish!

Re: AP emergers

DarrellP, I agree with Wayne! Super beautiful! AP.....Andre Puyans? I have been reading about him recently! I have also been diving into John Atherton and his series of "numbered" (instead of naming) patterns. You continue to amaze Darrell and we want you to continue on and show us every t...

Now, that's a really interesting looking nymph! I need to try this on my PMD hungry little darlings in the back pond! I really like this one Norm! Keep them coming please!

Darrell,
Each pattern you have posted looks fantastic! My pick? The second, darker version! Something about the look of it just smacks of insect goodness!

Re: One to swing for big browns

Mike,
Your Spey patterns are delicious looking! You have a done a wonderful job on these very fishable patterns and we all are interested in how they hunt!
Make more! Incredibly beautiful!
