Re: Moonlit Hooks

Fishnkilts, I appreciate your review of Moonlit Hooks! I am always on the lookout for good hooks cheap! I think I have the beginnings of being a collector of hooks! When I take on a new company and I give them a fair trial both at the vice and out on the water, I buy every style and size that I can....

Re: Hofland's Fancy

Norm, In this pattern with it's beautiful color combo's, you have achieved "the look" that I always look for and admire in everyone's offerings including my own. So far, I have found it repeated in many members patterns including yours but, sadly I cannot reproduce this cool feature. I thi...

Re: Phesant and snowshoe emerger

Dear T-12, This pattern is so cool! I am drawn in to the snowshoe hare wing obviously and then, like Ron and the others, I noticed the exquisitely tied and applied Pine Squirrel collar which is playing second fiddle to the hugely attractive wing but no less beautiful in its finery and function! You ...

Re: Partrige and olive

Another dandy Darrell with "the look" that I mentioned earlier! Hackle density? Who cares! The trouts don't! It's looks very edible! The trouts, me not so much! Great job friend! We can't wait to see what's next!

Darrell,
I call these "rough and tumble" and without a doubt, yours is tops! It's beautiful! I cannot see this fly lasting but a second in the currents! Fantastic!

Re: Lutz Favorite

Something about this fly Norm just speaks to me! It looks antique (not your tying, the general look of the pattern) yet, killer effective! You have given this pattern a special look that I find attractive and very hard (at least for me) to duplicate!
Amazed in the Den,
Doug
