Re: Field Testing a V.S. Hidy Flymph
Heyo! Very nice Ray, I couldn't view the pictures on the original post but, the link allowed me to. Looks like you have some water still... we're a bit dry even after last nights steady rain.

Re: Pearsall's Thread
Jim is correct, Pearsall and Langley Thead Co will no longer be producing the gossamer silk we all know and love. This morning I emailed them about it and Carol notified me that she has 11 Kilos undyed. Then that's it. The post that Karsten posted about the Semper_Fli product "Pure Silk" l...

He's got some fantastic saltwater stuff but, I never toyed around with his trout hooks. Maybe I'll pester him about that.... Mustad is a...

Plus, Daiichi's bronzing is second to none. Bill, I think people prefer TMC over Daiichi simply because of...

Re: Pete Hidy Quill Bodies
Very interesting seeing these quill bodied flies by your father, Lance. I'm sure they worked well for him! That second fly looks to be chewed a bit!
Thanks for sharing.

Re: Mearns quail
Very interesting bird indeed. I can think of plenty of uses for each of those feathers!
Salmon tyers fancy this bird I believe, and for good reason!
