Is it of a major significance that other threads beside silk cannot be used? Or is the significance more important in the eye of the fly tyer? As it is my wif...

Has anyone used this slinky indicator made with Rio 2-tone tippet material?

I have not used the two tone material. Detecting a solid color slinky is not that tough.

Re: emergers

I'm surprised that no body mentioned the possibility of terrestrials. At this time of year, a wet ant is always something to consider. (Or a dry ant for that matter.) And I daresay, almost all other wet flies represent emergers. Just don't fish them too deep. 20190717_201522.jpg Thanks for an actua...

Re: emergers

Sorry , by your post I thought you knew the exact fly and technique to fish it. Trifly, Howdy; Hank can you tell me which flymph will work for his emerger dilemma? Sorry it took so long to reply. No, I couldn't recommend a particular Flymph to to use as I'm not familiar with Nova Scotia or the subtl...

Re: UV2 Dun

Maybe, but if they make it in the colors I like I will keep using it.

Kind of like Chicken Noodle Soup. Doesnt do a thing for your cold but makes you feel better.
