Those caddis larva really look alive crawling around on your fly line in the last photo. I am sure the trout would agree! Nice looking flies.

Can you tell us anything about the caddis you photographed and posted? How big? Species? They sure look interesting with their bee-like coloration in the abdomen and panelled wings.

Any suggestions on how to tie in the feather? On top, side, bottom....any preference and/or better results with one or the other? I have to agree with DOUGSDEN. These are some really nice looking flies! Makes me want to do the twist. You've got my mind going now and I imagine I'll be experimenting with various materials and cranking out some Twisters in the near future. Inspirational. Thanks guys! Good stuff!
