The bagged feathers are junk.

Use the ones off the skin.
usually do, but my experience with Nature's Spirit material has been very good, so thoughtI that I'd at least see if they were any good.

PARTRIDGE FEATHERS

Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with bags of 'Premier Partridge"feathers from Nature's Spirit? Loose feathers in a bag? Have a couple of skins, but got burned a few years ago with loose Partridge feathers, so have always used skins since.

Have to agree with Ron also. I don't think I've ever seen a biot tail on a Soft-Hackle before, but will work just fine. :D
