Oliver Edwards has a Scandinavian accents? Jeez, its north county English. Maybe he should put up subtitles for those who already speak English.

Re: Antron

I’m not sure if there is a totally clear available, I bought a lot of all available colors but the nearest thing to clear was white. It’s the Antron Tri-lobal which I obtained from bookmailet.com

Re: Fuzzle Flymph

I found it under 2 different names. MFC has it as Micro Lucent Chenille and UTC has it as Micro Herl Chenille. Both are a crystal chenille about 2mm diameter. I found the MFC stuff at Galloup's Slide Inn and the UTC at Arrick's in W. Yellowstone. You just dub a good amount of dubbing right onto the...

Bumping an old post, which discusses the use of wool yarn for dubbing.

(Mike Valla's Tups Wool Dubbing Blend)
Ray, is Mike Vallas blend different than yours?
By the way I still have a little Tups orginal formula dubbing if anyone would like some. ( free of course )

Great looking flies. Do you fish them with a Tenkara outfit?

I think the Partridge & Orange and Stewart's Black Spider, although I don't keep records of such things. Both are older patterns that work very well.
+1 on these two patterns, I believe it’s not so much the pattern but how it’s fished.

Re: Rio "Slinky Indicator"

I find the comments very interesting, I hope others do to. Hi-sticking is undoubtably a deadly method of fishing, in the right hands. It takes a great deal of skill to see the subtle takes but since it requires no casting, just lobbing the leader and flies I can’t see how it can be defined as fly fi...
