I have two old cock capes that are very close to the color you have there - very nice indeed !! A couple of the older guys I fish with told me that particular color is called “buff”. And since it has a dark center in the feather, it is technically a “list”. Therefore it would be a “buff list” :geek:...

Helllo folks, thanks for your welcomes. I will not be known on here. I live in Scotland and use "Bobfly " since I usually fish two flies on the cast on hill lochs and most of the wild browns come to the bobfly! I usually use soft hackled flies and/or dries. I use the same mono, as well as other brands and colors. Try dipping a piece in Boiling hot water, you can stretch it, flatten it, etc.
