I received mine from Cookshill several days ago - put it to use right away. A great variety of hackle sizes and the feathers near the head can handle size 18-20 soft hackles with a conventional wrapping technique. Very pleased and cannot believe that I have been tying soft hackle flies for over 40 y...

Great looking fly and the Cree looks great! Is that from a Cree hen neck (if there is such a thing)?

Thanks, the purple and starling is one my favorite patterns for the early little black caddis and this looks like an excellent pattern for it. Do you know which RIT dye is used?
