Re: Purple Haze Soft Hackle Tutorial

Ray, This pattern, and the tying procedures and steps, are beautiful! That purple haze that surrounds the entire materials list is compelling! Purple is also very attractive to fish everywhere! Wow! These are lovely and deadly effective (that's my prediction!). The colors are exquisite and oh, so well tied! Exceptional work Norm! Please keep them coming!

Re: Atherton Nymphs

Norm,
I am really enjoying your contributions especially this latest round of Atherton Nymphs! I have always had a soft spot (primarily on my head) for these nymphs and dries too! Your pictures make me want to get out the fur and hackles and get cracking! Thanks again!

I have to agree with the two catbirds above Norm! This pattern is beautiful and exciting and we know that it will kill well! What else do you have on the docket?

The Genesee Jewel done by both Bill and Alan is just top notch! I'm adding this one to my winter tying list!

Wayne,
Your pattern is awesome! I love every aspect of it! The epoxy adds a whole new dimension to the look of the abdomen! The whole fly has a bugginess that can't be beat!
Keep feeding us,

Thanks Dana! It's still a tough thing to find a few moments to set down at my lap top and especially to comb the best forum in the world! I can remember only one other summer that I ran the weedeater more than this past one! This includes keeping the two ponds on our farm slicked back! Plants have r...

Re: Silica Gel for moisture control.....

Holy Cow Hank! I am loving the low humidity but, yikes on the 102 degree temps! You live in a great place Hank! I would like to come see you some day! Here in the Ohio Valley, we are coming off a month or so of high temps and rather oppressive humidity. My materials have been doing great with no dam...
