It's been a few years now, but I believe Winnie Dette had a few arterial clamps on her tying station.
I'm sure she would have loved those test lead clips if they were around at that time.
Walt seemed to prefer using those sausages he called fingers.

DUBBN
That has BWO (E cornutella) all over it. They run 16 to 20 and are an important hatch on the
waters that I fish. I'm looking forward to seeing that live and in living color when the swap flies arrive!
Well Done!

Re: Red Fox Squirrel - Harvesting Dubbing
That's awesome Doug
I picked up one yesterday in it's prime winter coat without a mark on it.
Almost sent the dog through the windshield when I locked up the brakes.
I'll be doing the same tomorrow when I get home.

Very nice.
Polish quills?
I picked up a few packs last fall to play with but haven't done so.

Good for you.
My waters are high and a cool 34.
The boat is stored for the winter and
I'm not stepping off the bank until the flows drop.
...and Happy New Year too.

I don't know if this is true, but I was told that if a "batch" of dyed silk did not pass quality,
it went in the black bath to salvage the run. Heat might have have been an issue too.
