I agree with this statement. I would choose #3 as well.redietz wrote:Slant # 3. There's more possibility for range of motion; I'm not always fishing on the swing.

Patterns are pretty simple but keep in mind that depending on where you live the colorization will differ. Out here in Utah I've seen Olives that have been brown, brown/greenish, even a light blue/gray. I usually try to get a sample and take it home and try to create a pattern based on the waters I ...

found a large zip lock bag with black laced hen necks in yellow, orange, green and pink. Forgot I had them out there. The fly tying gods must be smiling on me. I'll be tying a few of thos, Hans. Oh Ron it appears that you been infected. There is no cure. Post up some pics when you got a few done. :o
