Greeting Hans, Very nice Palmer! I've been tying some of these with the Chartreuse or red nylon floss tag. After reading Flytying with Harold Howorth by Douglas C. Townsend I started adding Partridge hackle natural or dyed as a face hackle or behind the shiny hen hackle. They do work on the Trout. Y...

That is a nice fly Hans. It will catch fish. Geoffey Bucknall Had an article in FlyFishing Fly Tying magazine last year concerning re-thinking color changes at different depths. I tied up a bunch of his pink flies & they really do catch Trout. His pattern called for a pale ginger hackle. my vers...
