Re: Pete Hidy's Gray Grizzly

Lance, Good Morning! I love it when you post these gems from your dad and then add your own offerings to the mix. It is masterfully done and sooo very interesting to all of us forum nuts who can't get enough of the rich history that you bring with each entry! I would say that Hank is square on with ...

Re: Hen&Underfur Flymph

Dearest Kacbo, Wow! This is a really nice flymph! In the waters that I fish, I know that they would gobble this up! You have done an excellent job in all ways esp. in the choosing and the tying of the hackle. I looks very real and very "buggy". Wonderful work friend! Enjoying what you are ...

Re: Couple More Tups Variations

Jeff, I have to disagree! Your offerings look twice as nice as mine! I have to tell you that I am partial to the first fly on the vintage Mustad hook! This is how I want mine to look! Excellent, excellent tying friend! Wow! These kinda things really get my juices flowing! Does anyone else have any T...

Speaking of tribes and Pow Wow's, I grew up in a small town in southeastern Ohio called Powhatan Point. Chief Powhatan used that area fo...

Re: Bluegill Approved

Dearest Chase Creek,
Wow! I am always on the lookout for a good Bluegill pattern and yours seems wonderful! I really like the look of the body of this fly and the hackle is first rate! How has it done on your B.G's? Have they given it their stamp of approval?
All the best to you!
