Vicki - I keep coming back to study this fly. I love the way this fly is constructed. It has all the elements of a very successful fishing fly (impressionistic profile, lots of movement, durable construction, etc). The more I study this fly, the more it begs me to be copy and fished. :D ;)

I love to see posts generate this much enthusiasm to tye flies. Mark (willowhead) - The fishing flies you've been posting lately are terrific! The Welsh Inspired Mayfly is my favorite. Just beautiful, and yet highly fishable. I would love to see the recipe for this pattern. I am guessing the collar ...

EDIT - I think you've got the makings for a beautiful framed set (flies/photo/priest) to remember your trip.
