Re: beaten up flies......

The DIIIIiiiipppppp??!?!?! http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/662/615/4fb.jpg Sorry. it was the first thing that crossed my mind. Assuming that the fly shown is the Crystal Dip, I think I'll add a few to my still water box. They should work well for bream and crappie in about 6 f...

Re: Phone tests

I have the Motorola Droid Turbo. The dang thing has a 21megapixel camera on it. More than double my DSLR. It takes nice pictures, but I haven't tried fly pics, yet. Maybe later tonight, just for a test. Looking at what you posted, the macro lenses may be gilding the lily. Those are some nice shots. ...

Sorry about that, folks. The photo came up clear as a bell when I did the "Preview" option before submitting the post. Don't know what the deal is with Google+ now. Jeez, always something ... Bill, It could be as simple as the privacy settings for the file or folder it's in. G+ is a littl...

Re: Hadn't seen this winging technique before.

His accent was so bad, I had to just turn the sound off.
Interesting technique. I've never been able to get the wings to set properly. Of course, I gave up after the frustration got too bad. When I run across my turkey feathers again (I don't have duck) I'll give this a try.

Re: March brown, Yorkshire style (maybe)!

Re: A Local Favorite...

Looks good, Doug. As usual, I'll have to sub out materials, lol, but I am pretty sure I can get close. If I come up with something good enough to photograph, I'll post it up. As for getting it wet, it may be a while. TS Bill just gave us a little more water to run off. This is the Stream Gage ...
