No sir. That is a Classic Era Heddon #35, light trout action. The Classic Era was considered 1933-1938. Possibly a 96-year-old rod! Like Capt. Gus said in Lonesome Dove: “The older the violin, the sweeter the music.”

I watch most McPhail videos. I have learned a lot from him. The main thing that comes to mind is an understanding of how to tie winged wets. Not saying I’m good at it, but his videos gave me a start.
