Re: Palomino's
Simple, if a little time consuming... Wick the with a lighter to get the right taper Aaron Thank you Aaron. I presume that you mean: Wick the chenille with a lighter. Thank you for posting. For the Palomino as an imitation of a Mosquito I rather use the plain chenille a little burnt on the end. :)

Re: Sylvester Nemes on Bead Heads...
I think that all depends on the water you fish and the kind of fish you are after. Trout has the habit of coming up so you can fish in the toplayer of the water. If you have to fish in colored water on a fish species that stay near the bottom you have to go down with your flies or don't fish. If you...

Hi Aaron,
I tied my flies for the swap with a silver bead the way you write it could be done. Thank you for sharing it. The pink devil wich I show on the pictures from the Roach is tied on your way.
Thanks again!!

Re: Dorber 10 foot 4 wgt rods
I think I make my leader of the same poly. To make a taper I pull out about 10 treads the last 50 cm. First tread 50 cm from the point next one 45 cm and so on. In this way you can perhaps make a taper in your line. I make a loop on the end and a loop on the butt end. Mostly I make a monofillament i...
