They're back right now, scratching and looking for more sunflower seeds. I'd love to see them stay all winter but I'll go bankru...

That looks like a great read; just put it on my Christmas list. We'll see if Santa is paying attention.redietz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:58 amThere's a sale on right now on pre-orders of Gaskill's new book: https://doublebadgers.kartra.com/page/cutcliffe-main

I'm always fighting the thought that I've gone just over the edge ...

Re: Grouse and Flash
The 'extensive' reply is appreciated; I remember reading about the spill and being horrified. We have some of the same issues here what with agricultural runoff and large timber companies cutting too close to watersheds, fines be damned. I spend an inordinate amount of time wrestling with water cons...

Re: Grouse and Flash
Nice to see such a beautiful fish rising from the Sacramento. Baz, are there any lingering issues from the Dunsmuir spill still affecting the waters there? Alan Petrucci (SSR) ties a wonderful little Grouse and Flash that I've stolen and it works wonderfully on the small stream brookies up here. Its...

It comes well recommended then. I'll definitely put it on the list of flies to try this coming season. Thanks for the report, I appreciate it.

Do tell, Ron. Specifics, man, specifics. I may have to try it next season up on the Fish.Ron Eagle Elk wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 1:37 pm Very nice, Norm. Happens to be a new favorite of mine for the Brookies here in Maine.
