I think I'll try some orange and yellow bodies blackened with a pen.
From the look of your pictures above, the conventional ideas about fly colours
need revision.

An excellent dressing, there really is a lot of talent on this site. 10/10 :D

I just went to Turton's list to have a look, and this is a very nice variant (?) of the
Purple Midge. I really like this recipe, that is not meant to denigrate the very fine
dressings by 'roadkill'. ;)
