Re: Partridge and Biot White Fly

William, Absolutely delicious looking pattern! Your tying continues to amaze me! Do you ever have bad days when it comes to tying and being consistant? If you do, it sure does not show! Wonderful stuff William and from the way it sounds, this is going to be a very workable and productive pattern! Doug

Re: Martinez Black Nymph

Wow Bill! This one is tops! I needed something big and juicy and pushin' a lot of water out of the way this evening when I came to call on the pond and it was a tad muddy from the recent heavy rains. This pattern would have been perfect! Your tying, like always, is superb! Keep us fed Bill with your...

Ray,
How crazy ingenious is this whole project! The screw covers at the end was a stroke of genius. How is the silk for tying? And, how does it compare with Pearsalls et al?
Just plain impressed as usual,
Doug

Re: Rough Olive

Eric, I was wondering if you had a chance to flick a few olives over your favorite waters? It seems they are the first to show and the last to go! Have any hatched lately? I am still impressed with your "Rough Olive" from a couple weeks ago (SBS). I am always looking for an early season al...

Thanks fellows for all the kind words and a special thank you to Ruard for posting his patterns (a gift from my den to his!) in that special way that plainly and wonderfully says....Ruard! I have been trying something a little different lately on my patterns esp. the fuzzy ones. I have been leaving ...

Bill,
This pattern is electric! What a great looking pattern! Prairie Chicken hackle....that sounds familiar! It looks great on this fly!
Wayne said it best....you really are a great tier and photographer! Dare we say best in the east? I think we dare!

Re: Rough Olive

Dang Eric!
These are special! Their beauty lies in their simplicity! You do realize that after you murderize a bunch of trouts, you must report back to us immediately and with a ton of pictures! Or, the curse will be upon you!
I'm really not that spooky.....
