Hi Norm, After wrapping and tying off the hackle, give it a brush with a soft tooth brush to help separate the hackle fibers. Nice pattern Scott, are you starting to tie off the hackle from behind the last turn of hackle? The head looks very clean on this one. ;)

Great fly Scott! I use the UTC thread on my bodies as well and if you want to give them a little shine
and get them just a bit darker use Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails. Thats what I used on the last 3 I posted.
