Jus in Found these Spools of Pearsalls Gossamer and bought them for less than 5 bucks apiece including shipping from Great Britain. There are 12 spools total 10 on wooden spools. Found this in Rob Smith's book. It is from The Contemplative and Practical Angler written by Joseph Wells 1842. The Wharfdale list. Found it interesting. A simple pattern calling for a Magpie Herl head, Starling under covert feather, and a white silk body.
